Questions about tc1k-1.0

Hi,

I've got the tc1k driver working just fine with X according to the HOWTO
at http://linux-tablet-pc.dhs.org/howto.html.

I'm trying to make use of the three pen-activated buttons near the
screen. The driver seems to support them but I can't see any activity
with xev when I press the buttons. Is anyone else using them? Any tips
about how to make use of them? The documentation (if you can call it
that) in tc1k-1.0.tar.gz is sparse at best.

I'm also curious about these files:

 8715 Feb 9 12:16 tc1k_drv.o
25728 Feb 9 12:16 xf86tc1k.c
 8636 Feb 9 12:16 xf86tc1k.o

The readme.txt instructs me to copy tc1k_drv.o to
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/input. That works fine.

But what about xf86tc1k.o? What's that for? And where's the source
code for tc1k_drv.o?

I tried renaming xf86tc1k.o to tc1k_drv.o and copying it to
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/input. It still works but I wasn't able to get
any farther with the three pen-activated buttons.

Your thoughts appreciated,
Adam
