Sorry for not saying this before but:-
It have to WORK, dammit ;-)
I know HP design this machine with this feature in mind,
to be able to boot a small, PDA OS from built-in flash.
Currently it use netbsd, but...
Why not linux? X Window, Matchbox :-) GPE?
It look nicer to boot from built-in flash, no dongle.
In slate mode, on battery, with automatic suspend and
fast instant-on, finally tc1000 will become just a big
screen PDA.
