I got the wireless networking working without a hitch by using the
latest stable Atmel AT76C503A driver (atmelwlandriver.2.1.2.2).
Then I reinstalled Windows, installed QuickLook, and reinstalled Linux
again.
Now the networking looks like it's behaving (the module loads and the
light comes on) until I get to "Site Survey" in lvnet, and it can't find
my network any more. Arrggh!
The only thing I can think of that changed significantly is the BIOS
upgrade during the QuickLook installation.
Does anyone have any experience relevant to this? Did QuickLook break
anyone else's networking, or am I somehow being an idiot?
Help!
