Well, given that Carl provided a patch to fix the segfault 168 days ago,
yes I'd say the debian maintainer has dropped the ball. I'll compile
from source. As to datedness, it's the same base rev. (0.5.12) as Carl's
last tarball release, but that's dated 2/22/02. CVS has newer code,
so I'll take a look at that.
