Hi,
I own a TC1000 and learn about configuring linux
on TC1000 from http://linux-tablet-pc.dhs.org/
(I'm using Red Hat 9 with customized 2.4.21
kernel). Almost everything work fine except
the internal Lucent modem and longrun.
Talking about X, the NVIDIA driver is ok with
its twinhead and dpms support but it lacks
portrait mode. The XFree86's NV driver support
portrait mode (it is required that XrandR
be disabled for the driver to work properly) but
never turn off the screen and doesn't support
multiple screen (to be able to use Xinerama).
It'd be perfect if we can switch screen layout
(portrait/lanscape) on the fly using the
Pen switch. Currently, I have to quit X and
startx -- -layout XXXXXX
to switch between different layouts.
Can I ask a simple question?
What is the output of the project?
A linux distribution?
Regards,
Samphan.
