The ipaq rx3715 linux was crashing every second time (almost
consistently to be inconsequential)
I moved the gpe-bootsplash from /etc/rcS.d/S20bootsplash to
/etc/rc5.d/S98bootsplash
and added a redirection from /etc/init.d/modutils where it invokes the
module insertion >> /var/log/messages 2>&1
here is the normal messages from bootup and here messages with the stack
trace..
after that fails the network card also fail and the bootint process stops..
i have removed sound from the /etc/modules to work around the crash. Is
there enough details in this log? The build was from Romans dump on the
website wiki.
I have begun to try and test the sound modules from the familiar cvs
2.6.19-hh10, but havent got them working yet..
is the sound code in that tree anyway? If not where can I find the sound
code to compile into 2.6.19-hh10, is there a seperate branch for rx3000
work or is there a latest stable patch or something?
regards,
Warren.
