Does that mean that I'm unable to use the usb cable for now, or is it
just harder.
I never used a serial irda-port, but the pda has infrared, and my
laptop too. Is that all I need?
Also, the status page says "USB - done (usbnet)". Doesn't that mean
that I will be able to connect to the usb using the usb cable and
synce?

Are that the same files as on the website?
For now, I haven't been able to partition my sd-card with a second
ext2 partition (can't get the multicard reader to work in knoppix, and
that's my only option today).
Haret show the penguin till he gets red eyes, and than the screen
slowly fades away.
If I connect with telnet to the haret interface, should I be able to
see anything what's going on? As I'm restricted to knoppix for the
day, that's not easy to setup either. But my guess is that it searches
for the ext2 partition on my sd-card, doesn't find it and stops.
Well, tomorrow at work I have a fully functional gentoo system,
that'll make things a lot easier :-)
Oh, and another thing. Is the status page on the wiki still up to
date? What do you mean with the lcd screen being "very close" to
functioning? Won't I be able to see anything on the pda screen yet?
When I get this up and running, I'm happy to help you guys out. I
won't be much of a help in the beginning, as I'm not very experienced
in this area, but I'm a quick learner ;-)
Greetz,
JeDi
