Make a text file (script.txt) with a single line:

DUMP GPIO "\My Documents\gpiostates.txt"

Run Haret, choose script.txt instead of default.txt, tap Run button
and you have a dump-file.

Direct connection (via com-port, irda, usb) is necessary when you
want to talk to Haret interactively through telnet.
(I connect PDA by rs232-cable to com-port of my computer
and tell WinCE to dial a number as it's a simple modem, on the other
side I have script, which emulates replies to AT-commands and starts pppd,
so i can run telnet and connect to Haret)

SynCE helps to automate the proces of files update on PDA
(it's not necessary. I use card-reader to write kernel on mmc-card)

The kernel you tried fits only Rover P5+, this PDA differs Rover P4 greatly.
That kernel will not run on it.

Besides after each try to load linux you'll need to make hardReset,
so don't forget to save your data.
