Puh there is a ucm_inst* which is the generic factory to actually load the
library. There is at least some occurences of networksettings ( the right
appName ) so this problem is really nasty and different from all 1.0.x
problems even if the error message is the same!
(Why don't we've odebug in QLIbrary :( )
Ok could you ldd some libraries for me?
ldd plugins/application/libnetworksettings
ldd lib/libqte.2.3.7.so
ldd lib/libopienet2.so*
ldd lib/libopieui2.so*
ldd lib/libopiecore2.so*

so if all there libraries don't have unresolved symbols please try this from a
console:
# LD_BIND_NOW=1 networksettings
# logread

hopefully we will get an error message now...

We also have non programming tasks that can be done!! And most of the tasks
don't even involve rocket science and not even much time! So there sure is
something you could do for Opie. Ok reporting issues is important as well.
