Good morning,
afaik "syncing the old-fashioned way" is not a technical term. What I
thought about, was to find and copy all relevant files from the
handheld to the desktop machine (by using (s)ftp or rsync), merge them
by hand if necessary and so on. That's all.
By the way: Syncing with qtopiadesktop now works perfectly. I was even
able to set up a serial ppp connection to a window$ machine, so that i
could use intellisync for importing data from m$ outlock. Finally I
have got all my outlock data on the linux desktop. (Although some
appointments got screwed up: shifted by on ore two hours -- probably a
time zone problem. Nevermind.)
Best regards
ulf
