Ok, I guess you are right, but I've been trying to do this for quite
sometime now and I'm kinda of frustrated.
Sorry for the confusion, here is the detailed situation:
I have downloaded both Qt/Embedded 2.3.2 and the latest sources of OPIE
from the CVS repository as instructed on
http://opie.handhelds.org/wiki/index.php3?SourceCode.
The objective is to cross-compile OPIE for the iPAQ. I already have two
cross-compilers x86->ARM, one from the handhelds.org ftp site (gcc ver.
2.95.2) and one from LART (gcc ver. 3.0). I also have uic 2.3.2 in
$QTDIR/bin and tmake.
I set all the PATHs correctly and I apply the patches as instructed on
http://opie.handhelds.org/wiki/index.php3?BuildingQtForOpie.
Now, if I enter the config line that is proposed on the above site, the
build breaks: it gives me a bunch of error messages on the jpeg support.
If I disable that (by specifying -no-jpeg during configuration), I am able
to compile Qt, but the OPIE compile breaks giving me a bunch of "undefined
reference" errors on the built Qt libraries (both opie and qpe libs).
I suspect I have to tweak the configuration line for Qt, but I have no
idea how. I've randomly tried some combinations, but every time I get
different error messages. I can provide any of these upon request...
NOTE: I've only managed to compile Qt using the handhelds.org compiler,
never with the LART compiler.
Thanx :)
