If you had read the familiar ml you would have read my announcement of
busybox based familiar and familiar/OPIE root jffs2 images.
I already talked to a7r und he promised to include my patches to the various
scripts (at http://www.softforge.de/bb/) into the next release. I already
have a busybox CVS HEAD version running on my system for months, but a7r said
he will only accept it as part of familiar, if it is *optional* ... That
means ipkg has to have support for the "Provides" and "Conflicts" keywords,
which it currently does _not_ have.
So once ipkg has decent support for these there will be a bb ipkg and bb root
image ready.
BTW: Since I have write access to the BusyBox CVS, the CVS Head version was
greatly improved by me to implement many of those GNU features that are
needed by familiar.

BTW: I am not subscribed to the gpe ml .. please CC me or OPIE ml in replies.
