opie media player

What is the largest file that someone has played with opie-player. Here
is what I have been trying todo. I have my users home dir on my desktop
exported via nfs and mounted on my ipaq in /mnt/nfs. It also does the
same thing if I just try to play them off of my pcmcia hd. I can play
mp3's fine and small video clips, but every time I try and open a mpeg (
or any file ) that is over 30Mb opie-player just never opens it. It
appers to try for awhile but then just dies. At first I thought that
mayby I was running out of memory, I have a 3765, so I started adding
swap space on my pcmcia hd. That didn't work either. Am I missing
something or does the opie-player just not play files that large, if not
what does?
