Patrick,

What are the risks of installing software into a RAM fs on the iPaq? I have
a 3670, which has lots of ram, but only 16 MB of flash. I like your idea a
lot, but I don't want to risk blowing up the user interface installation in
the event of a reboot. I'm assuming the RAM FS is volatile. Is it possible
to install software into a ram-fs without puting that entire FS at risk?

Thanks!

Calvin

create an opt directory in the ram filesysthem and link it to the root
filesysthem.
this should do the job.
