Hi Gerhard,
Glad to hear you got your build to work successfully :)

You're right, Roadmap only exists in OE as a GTK version. I'm sure it wouldn't
be too hard to create a .bb file to build the Qt version though (and
hopefully submit it as a patch to OE). Is this something you could look into?

I would think so, however it seems that there is a new version of Roadmap
available now (1.10) so it would surely be better to get the latest version
if possible.

Hmm, I just tested this with the latest CVS version and you're right, it
really doesn't work. I'm pretty sure it used to work fine, too. I'll have a
look into this, and also try to make sure that if it does fail, that it
doesn't display useless error messages like that one.

opie-image does not include a lot of applications. Some of the ones you
mention ought to be available for building separately within OE, and if they
aren't they could probably be added fairly easily - particularly if they are
already in familiar-build (which is based on an older version of OE).
Unfortunately though Opie-Mediaplayer2 is currently suffering from bit-rot in
OE and cannot compile against the version of libxine they have. I hope
someone else has time to look at this because at the moment I do not.
Cheers,
Paul
