How usable is opie on Tungsten T3?

Hello,
I've heard at a linux news site that opie supports Palm Tungsten devices. I
have a Tungsten T3 which is currently not in use but I'm thinking about
resurrect it using opie.
Of cource I have a few questions regarding that?

- Is opie usable for contact and calendar management?
- Is opie usable on the Tungsten T3?
- Is there a possibility to sync with KDE (kaddressbook, korganizer)
- How is input performed on the Palm? Something like grafitti or a virtual
keyboard?
