In the latest version, I think I have it so you have to hold down the icon to
record, otherwise, if you tap it and dont know its recording, it may run out
of space.
and more dangerously, you can set up button to correspond with toggling
recording on/off.
If you have the vmemo settings set to show visual alerts, it will open a top
level window when its recording.
