"Today" looks ugly, like a display problem

Hello,

Since I installed Opie 1.1.9, the "Today" page looks very ugly...

Here is a screenshot:

As you can see there is a prbl in the top banner, where the middle looks
smaller than its sides...
And then, it looks like all the images got a black 1px border, which
creates this very ugly look...

Is it a normal behaviour in 1.1.9? If not, how can I solve that?
In my previous version, 1.0.3 The Today was looking good :/
