Even though I dont know much about OS X or much about Mac OS, I know that
setting up TCP/IP for a ppp client is *very* easy.
as far as loading the boot loader and a familiar Linux image I have no
idea how you would go about do that. =(
Since your running a UNIX based system though I would think it should be
fairly easy.
Maybe try hitting up the open darwin mailing
lists[ http://www.opendarwin.org/mailman/ ]
and see if anyone has some idea's on ppp over USB on OS X.
