Hi Andrew
There is work underway to take the Redundant Audio Tool - which is a
VoIP application developed at University College London with advanced
features and in wide distribution - and replace its existing Tcl/Tk GUI
with an OPIE based GUI. For an example of this app in action on an iPAQ
take a look at http://internet2.motlabs.com/ipaq/index.htm

At the same time a SIP User Agent is also being added to the app which
will inter-operate with a Linux based SIP Registrar/Redirection proxy
server being setup on Handhelds.org. This server is intended to be the
nucleus for other SIP Proxy servers to come together and provide
distributed Directory and "Buddy List" like Presence services for all
kinds of multimedia and gaming applications.

It should be noted that all of this is still in development and there
is, as yet, no firm release date. If you are interested in helping out,
that would be appreciated and you can contact me directly.

Regards,
\Terry

P.S. "VoIP on OPIE" hey I like the snappy ring to that :-)
