There is another issue here. I have noticed that the alarm does seem very
quiet, but I found that when the alarm goes off and I tap on the volume
applet and tap the up-arrow to increase the volume it jumps up to a quite
acceptable level. In fact the alarm can be quite loud, even distorting the
speaker on my iPAQ 3650. The problem is that no matter what level you set the
volume on your iPAQ, it will default to low level when the ipaq wakes up. I
notice this bug mostly when playing mp3s. I always have to reach for the
volume applet when I wake up my ipaq to start playing mp3s.
I will add this to bugzilla if it isn't already there.
