to boost the volume, plug the headphone output into somelthing louder than
your ipaq's tiny little speaker. there is only so much air that the speaker
can move, so it can only get so loud...

for the alarm thing, submit it to bugzilla, and somebody should work on it
(after the 0.9 release, of course...)
