Just a quick remark: the clock sync problem aparently was a Familiar
bug. I upgraded to Familiar 0.5.1 before trying Opie for the first time
and now the clock syncs. even after a hard reset the time comes up
right. The APM features in Fam-0.5.1 are much improved too. before it I
had only 26 hours of battery even keeping the iPAQ in sleep for all
this time. now I can keep the iPAQ away from the charger for almost 48
and it'll still have juice left.
