Re: Browser

I had tried the one from there and had problems, but on further investigation
I think this was due to lack of memory. I didn't realise it was going to take
almost 4Mb just for a browser! Having done a more selective installation of
familiar/opie packages I did have space to install it and it works fine
(though strangely the file manager won't start now...). This seems a huge
amount of memory (a quarter of of the total available in my case!), does
anyone know if there is a version of Konqueror that uses less space? does
anyone know if this version of libkhtml is compiled with debug or hasn't been
stripped, or is there another reason for its size?
Are there any plans to include Konqueror or some other browser in the main
part of opie? I think a browser and mail program should be part of all modern
PDAs.

Edward
