HI Matt,
I found the same type of problem. Perplexed me a quite deal at first.
With a little investigation later on, I made a discovery. (at least
running opie).
If I, just at a terminal, ran qpe2uschedule, and then closed the
terminal, opie would wake up, every time. In fact, I'm yet to be late
to an appointment, or a meeting at all!
I dont know if this is along the lines of exactly what your dealing
with, but I thought I might try to help.
