OPIE is stagnated for atleast year. No new apps for two years.

OPIE had such group of developers when it was started as project.

There is no QT2/X11 apps anymore. Porting QT3 based apps to OPIE require
creating 'qt2 support' libraries such as microkde, microkdelibs,
microkdepim and removing some functionality due lack of support for some
things in qt2/embedded (built without threading for example).

World of QT2/Embedded is over. There can be some specialized hardware
using QT2/E or QT3/E but those are devices where user is not allowed to
install any extra software.
