impending freeze for 1.2.3

As you all know, I proposed 2007-02-12 as the date for the freeze for
1.2.3. If you have pending patches, now is the time.

Paul E. went to all of the trouble to organize the bugs in the tracker
for the 1.2.3 version. I intend to stick to fixing those bugs. View the
parent bug here:
http://opie-bugs.oszine.de/view.php?id=1837

I should note that we are lacking patches for most of them.

I propose that we stick to the freeze date. After the 12th no commits
should be made without having a bug in the tracker and having a patch
attached to it. Confirmation of the bug would be even better. But if you
have cvs write access, I can understand if you want to expedite and skip
confirmation.

Let me know if you disagree or want an extension on the freeze.

If I have missed any patches that have been sent, it is entirely my
fault and you are welcome to beat me over the head with reminders and
wet noodles.

E
