Summary: Keypebble connection problems.
Description:
I'm not sure if this is a 'bug', or just my un-l33t linux skills. Treke
told me to post it here, so here's the problem:

I have a VNC server on a Win2k machine. Through an XP machine, I can
connect to it through a VNC viewer. On the same network I have my iPAQ
with OPIE. When it starts to connect (through KeyPebble) it gives me back
this error:

Read Error: Qsocket reported an error reading data, the remote host has
probably dropped the connection

What can cause this problem?

I should also add my server is WinVNC 3.3.7 (from the people at RealVNC).

An interesting thing I should add, on the server I have the display
numeber set to auto. And on the iPAQ I have the display number set to
zero. When it connects it gives me the error above. But when I tried
another display number it doesn't connect, just hangs there. It doesn't
connect, but it doesn't crash... One more thing, I get "Host not found"
error when connecting to the server using :5900 at the end of the ip.

And here is a log of what happens:

/ # keypebble
QDir::readDirEntries: Cannot read the directory: ../apps

Is this bug still present in newer versions of Opie/Familiar?

Just tested connecting to a Linux desktop (using KDE's Krfb) and never got
anywhere, although the errors I got seemed to be protocol related
("invalid version" etc.)
