Summary: Image viewer/showimg: select directory, pad keys,
and zoom?
Description:
I updated the latest unstable feed recently, and I'm sure before you could
set a directory for Image Viewer/showimg to read from. Did this
functionality disappear? The new thumbnail view is great, but if you have
a lot of images on a storage device, losing the ability to select by
directory and just showing everything makes image management harder.

Also: is there any chance of a zoom functionality in Image Viewer/showimg?
Making left/right cursor pad presses scan previous/next image, and up/down
zoom in/out would be really useful. Even if zoom wasn't possible,
left/right would be great.
