Summary: in Security you can set a passwort (4-digit-number).

Description:
I you restart your ipaq you have to enter that passwort in case you told
opie to ask it. If your OPIE is in !en (eg .de) that this dialog will be
english, though the dialog is german when you type your password from
within Security. Hard to describe ;)
