Summary: kconsole doesnt not close with Cancel
Description:
Embedded kconsole doesnt allow the user to use the Cancel button as a way
of closing the window. There is also no menu option so that if one prefers
the keyboard with kconsole, there is no easy method of closing it

What exactly is meant by the second part- "There is also no menu option so
that if one prefers the keyboard with kconsole, there is no easy method of
closing it" ?

I still do not get the point of this bug- The Embedded Console can be
closed with the cancel button in the upper right corner whether there is a
keyboard attached or not.

Typing "exit" also closes the current console session, if the latest is
closed the console exits.

jmhodges: Can you please provide any more information how to exactly
reproduce this bug ?

The problem is the ESC key and this disabled by purpose: You need it for vi
:)
