Summary: Text Edit save dialog 'Cancel' loses document.
Description:
If I create a document in Text Edit, and then tap OK to save and exit, but
then cancel the save dialog using the (X) button (say, I had more to add to
the document, or realized I didn't have the CF card inserted that I wanted
to save on, etc.) Text Edit closes and the document is lost!
Also, if I create a document and go to File->Save and then cancel the save
dialog, the document appears to be marked as 'saved', because hitting OK at
that point closes Text Edit and loses my document without saving.

deselect Advanced Features from the View menu to have it prompt you when
you canel and have an edited and unsaved text.
