Summary: TextEdit always asks for the file to save to even
when file was chosen from Documents tab
Description:
When using the TextEdit app. to create a document it pops up a file browser
dialog in order to ask the user where to place the file and what name it
should have. After saving the file, the filename with icon appears in the
Documents tab. If the user clicks on this icon and subsequently selects to
edit the "linked document", upon closing the TextEdit app. by clicking the
"OK" button at the top right of the title bar, the filebrowser dialog
appears again to ask the user where to save the document. I've always
selected the same location and tapped on the name of the file that appears
in the filebrowser window to place it into the filename edit field, then
tapped OK. It then pops up the dialog to set the permissions and ownership
on the file (which by the way, is sometimes out of the screen to the top,
but the title bar has always been visible just enough to "grab" it with the
stylus and drag it down the screen to get to the OK button), and clicking
the OK button on that dialog saves the file.
