(Got an SMTP error from server when submitting this bug - seems to have
caused it to have the wrong Category and Severity - should be BLOCK)

Do you also use the qt-embedded from the feed ?

I can't seem to reproduce it- on most devices the current feed runs fine.

Can you please check the version of your qt/embedded library ?
( ipkg status qt-embedded )

sh-2.03# ipkg status qt-embedded
Package: qt-embedded
Version: 2.3.2-12
Status: install ok installed

Followed this up with a check of my /etc/ipkg.conf file. I had two 'src'
lines. One for Opie and one for Familiar 0.5.2. I remember leaving the
Familiar src in when Opie had a dependancy for (I think libjpeg), so rather
than swap src lines between ipkg installs I left both lines in.

Trying:
(remove Familiar src reference)
sh-2.03# ipkg remove qt-embedded
Removing package qt-embedded...Done
sh-2.03# ipkg update
sh-2.03# ipkg install qt-embedded
Downloading
http://131.152.105.154/feeds/ipaq/unstable//./qt-embedded_2.3.2-25_arm.ipk
Installing qt-embedded (2.3.2-25)
Configuring qt-embedded...Done
sh-2.03# /etc/init.d/opie start
You seem to already have a /root/Applications directory.
Assuming it is the Opie Applications directory. Exiting.
Starting Opie...

...and the Opie screen appears on the ipaq.

Thanks, I can now see the Opie desktop.
