Summary: Nethack crashes when entering gnomish mines
Description:
THe message you get when entering gnomis mines (if nethach was started from
embedded konsole)

Oops...
Suddenly, the dungeon collapses.
Report error to "wizard" and it may be possible to rebuild..
Saving to /(null)/nethack_root.eCannot open
save file.
Memory allocation failure; cannot get 1079767337 bytes

oops- a save error where it can´t get the user name ...

Did saving work before ?

I have assigned it to me, however I it not propable I can fix it soon.

Just a clarification, the point isn't the save error
but the crash that happens when I'm about to enter gnomish mines

Nethack crashes and tries to save the game for debugging and fails
there too. saving used to work, maybe i will try to reinstall nethack.

By the way, I'm not sure if this helps or not, but I found a compiled 3.4.0
version of nethack on the skiffcluster that someone had done /home/dwmw2 I
think. Anyway, I tried his version for kicks, and it successfully enters
the gnomish mines, so it must be a configuration setting. Telnet to
skiffcluster[1-6].handhelds.org login as guest, and check out
/home/dwmw2/nethack/nethack-3.4.0/ if you're interested.

Also, since the currenty qpe-nethack 3.3.1 build didn't have an icon which
meant no way to refocus if switched back to the HOME screen, I added an
icon and repackaged all this into an ipk. The zaurus software index
