Summary: ogg functionality in tkcplayer
Description:
The tkcplayer app is not able to load or play ogg files on the zaurus with
the latest rom installed (it just crashes). It can still play mp3 though.
They say that they do not support OPIE so I should report the bug to you
(sorry).

Ok you use the latest OpenZaurus.
That tkcPlayer does not start can have multiple reasons.
first start it from the embeddedkonsole please. And upload the content of
the console after the program terminated.
then you could use catchsegv before you start tkcplayer and then we will
know where it crashes and last but not least if nothing helps
you've to get you a gdb to test it.

The programme starts fine, it just can't play the ogg files. I have
actually just re-flashed with the 2.9.5.5 rom and the 48-16 build and now
the bug does not occur (it is specific for the 2.9.5.5 rom with the 64
build) so I guess this will do as a temp solution. I am quite new to the
Zaurus so I'm afraid I don't really know how to do all the things you
describe here, I just thought you should know that there is a problem with
the 64 build and the tkcplayer. Maybe it is a memory problem as the root
flash space is basically full on my Z so if the ogg playback needs to write
temp files into the root space it might get in trouble... just a thought.
