Summary: compile and distribute opie agains threaded qpe/qte
libraries
Description:
This way you can run threaded and non-threaded apps in a single release.

If not you need a different distribution /version /fork ... if you need one
threaded
application.

you can make a separate feed for that. Just make sure that you have then qt
twice on your pda, otherwise you wont be able to run any app you have not
compiled yourself.

all of the CVS is GPL/LGPL so feel free to do an alternative feed. Do it
like I ran Qt/3-mt... the lock around the mainloop and other threaded stuff
does not add much stuff to Qt itself. The lib is roughly 100kb bigger when
built mt...
Besides that one of the goals of Opie is/was to be 100% compatible to the
platform defined by Trolltech. This is why the 'official' feed will use Qt
single threaded....until TT/Sharp/al decides to switch to something
better.
I hope you open up a feed and recognise how hard it is to get something
stable out.. If you've built problems or whatever feel free to mail me...
