Hello Devin,
Sorry about the late response. I've been pretty backed up lately.
Anyways, NetBSD on the iPaq handheld is still at an early stage. The kernel
has booted and run on an Intel StrongARM SA1100 evaluation board, but we're
still not at a stage where it has actually run on a handheld. We are working
on the bootloader first so it can be compiled under NetBSD witout needing a
Linux host.
There is no real website- the number of people working on this is very
small, although I hope to put more full-time work on it after
Christmas-time. Other people on this list should be able to update you on
the status of the bootloader and kernel - they are the ones doing active
development at this time. Hopefully some of them will respond to this
message and update us with their current status.
-Edwin

Subject: [Netbsd] Status of porting NetBSD to the iPAC?
Hi all,
I'm interested in experimenting with NetBSD on a PDA (preferably an iPAC
since I own one) and I'm wondering what the current status of the port
is? Is NetBSD booting on the iPAC yet?
Is there any website for this project that would indicate the project's
status/goals/etc. ?
Thanks in advance!
