I uploaded the source to the bootloader to the skiffcluster today and
got my changes to build under Linux as well.
The source is under ~guest/rjs@fdy2.demon.co.uk/bootldr
XMODEM works fine when I build under Linux, so I am beginning to
suspect a compiler problem.
I just forced the flash type to the StrataFlash type that is fitted to
the Assabet to get around the Flash ID problem. I have also had to
change the kernel region size for this flash type to cope with the
size of uncompressed NetBSD kernels.
I needed to add some code to bootldr.c to create a MMU mapping from
0xf0000000 to the start of DRAM.
I can now download a NetBSD kernel to flash and jump into it on reset,
but I don't know what it is doing yet.
