Thankyou for sending me the patch file. I haven't had much of a chance to look
at it yet, but there are already some bits that seem "suspicious".

I reverted my kernel source tree to the CVS as it was the day before your
patch was applied. This fixes MMC support.

I'm sorry to have to tell you this. The day before the patch was applied, MMC
worked. The day after the patch was applied MMC was broken. Since nothing
else seems to have changed in that part of the kernel, it's really hard to
imagine that it could be anything but your patch that's causing this problem.

When I get home I'll try to figure out what the problem is, but I'm not at all
familiar with this low-level MMC/SD interface, so it's bound to take me some
time to get to grips with it.
