Hi people
An update for Debian Etch lovers on the loox..
http://dl.free.fr/bRCwfNImh/loox_image.tgz
http://dl.free.fr/dZ75nlNFA/loox_boot.tgz
create 2 partitions on an SDcard.
the fist needs to be a small FAT32 partition (about 32MB is enough)
the second a linux partition (large) formatted as Reiserfs.
mount the first partition under /mnt/loox1 and the second partition as
/mnt/loox2
do the following:
tar xzf ./loox_boot.tgz -C /mnt/loox1/
tar xzf ./loox_image.tgz -C /mnt/loox2/
sync
umount /mnt/loox1
umount /mnt/loox2
Backup your loox before trying Linux.. it WILL wipe your looxs memory!!
insert the card in the loox.
start Haret.exe from the SDcard..
you can either login as root , password root using a USB keyboard or plug
the USB host into a linux PC..
loox ip-address is 192.168.0.2
Good Luck!
Jan Rinze.
