((((((: well, first of all, I still have to verify that all steps indeed lead
to the blinking cursor (reproducability, ya know? *g*), then as again and
again ppl were able to boot linux on the loox in the past, while others
failed, there is no guarantee it will work for you (that torn apart Loox of
your doesn't make things easier *g*) but I really hope it will help you.

And finally don't forget, no GUI, fancy apps, just a cursor on the touchscreen
so far.

I will now leave for some latte maciato downtown Aken (; and see if I will be
fit for further experimenting this evening.
