Hey! Ok for now I give up on trying either evdev to accept calibration values
or to let evtouch work without a fixed DEVICE entry.
Instead, I decided to use udev (as Dmitry suggested on Undcon.com, what a
coincidence (: ) and let it create fixed links for those Loox input devices
(for fun I also let it link the powerbutton and those keys).
I tested it, works with and without USB keyboard and the resulting change of
device files on boot up.
-> The X configuration issue the HowTo suffered from is solved (though i would
have preferred a device independent approach), I updated the downloadable
files and added the udev rules and recompiled the utility to calibrate the
touchscreen.
I also added a section for the LOCALE issue (nice idea!), though I have no
real insight on what is needed and what one has to do. It's a basic and
working setup
