Currently we use the method of installing linux on a partiton of the
SD-Card.
it all depends on what you like to achieve,
If you want to run Opie maybe you should stick to the Opie initrd
the current state of the kernel is such that most things work. Having said
this I must warn you that not everything is yet up to the level you may be
used to with Linux.
a full 'how-to' for installing Linux on your Loox is not yet available.
Short how-to:
BACKUP your loox!!
get Haret.exe and put this on your SDcard.
build a kernel and put this also on your sdcard.
get Opie and put that on your sdcard.
configure the haret startup.txt to start your kernel.
start haret.

sorry but we don't have enough people to do both the documentation and the
programming..
Jan Rinze.
(sorry for my bad english, but my mind is a bit of a mess right now)
