Is there a kernel image somewhere?

Hi all,

I am very happy to see that this project is alive and well. I would like
to help out, if nothing more, then by testing...

Could someone kindly provide a compiled kernel image, or/and a few
instructions on how to build from source? (The 'kernel' link on the wiki
seems to refer to the HW page.)
