HTC Wallaby linux porting project

Dear Linux Handheld people,

I am Linux driver programmer for 2 years from now.

I have a T-Mobile PocketPC Phone Edition released somewhere in Sep 2002.
There was not indentation about the manufacturer name of model on the
phone.
However, with some clues present on phone and service provided, I could
browse through and found that it is a HTC manufactured Wallaby model.

I am interested in porting Linux to this model. Has there been any such
effort before this. I thought you guys would be a better approach point
to put this question across.

Is there a Linux kernel for the HTC Wallaby?
If it is not present, I would like to take that up and port Linux to it.

I found a EETimes "Under The Hood" preview on T-Mobile PocketPC Phone
Edition(HTC Wallaby). It is informative but is only 3 page pdf.

I am looking for if I can find the detailed specs for this model.
