Summary: Task: Push SoC drivers to mainline
           Product: linux-2.6
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: port unspecific
        AssignedTo: kernel-bugs_at_handhelds.org
        ReportedBy: pmiscml_at_gmail.com

Big share of our devices has some SoC chip and depends on a SoC base driver.
Thus, mainlining SoC drivers would be on critical path to mainlining the
machines themselves. This is even more true as some SoCs are reused in many
devices, and having one driver in mainline opens up road for several machines.
