One year ago, I succeded in debricking the J568 (and this one is working fine).

If you don't find again my posts (if yes, please give me the link), I will try to sum up how to proceed.
Here are some points:
- the jtag connection is difficult to solder (1,27 mm pitch), but the 7 solders can be easily made on the motherboard, just under the plastic sheet protecting from the CF card. You have to carefully controll that there is no short-circuit between pins.
- the jflash utility from HP doesn't compile on standard linux distribution (I tried 3 or 4 !) As I am a newbie in Linux, I spent some time to discover, by chance, that the "short.c" module had to be compiled with restriction "-c"
- it takes about 14h to flash.
- some discussions on this forum let me think that the jtag connection as described by HP wasn't fully understood by no-electronician people: the ground connection was'nt mentionned. It's obvious for electronicians, but not for others.
