Hi Tomas.

In case you're using hpcboot, I hope you know are aware of that:
1. hpcboot.exe is a bsd bootloader, and doesn't support initrd for
   linux kernel elfs.
2. the initrd have to be tiny, because it has to be compiled into
   your kernel, with a patch called cibd, (compiled in block device,
   the title tells all it does).

And on one of the this list members site, http://acid.ch.pw.edu.pl/~sq5bpf/mylinux/linux-jornada720/jornada/>
contains all the necessary files to get linux running. The file
called dist.minix.gz is to be used as an "initrd" inside your kernel.
