It is sad, but I think that it will be quite difficult
to use the L3 interface for sound w/o help from the
engineer that put it together. In my rough notes, it
appears that the L3 (write only) interface is
attached to the HP ASIC and that the interface
is not well documented (or perhaps not
documented at all!).
Unfortunately, I have not been able to get a response
to my calls and emails for more info.
